Privacy notice

This notice explains what herosjourney.fit and the Hero’s Journey New York founding waitlist collect, why, and the choices you have. Hero’s Journey (“we”) operates the site.

When you join the waitlist: your first and last name, email, phone number, date of birth, gender, ZIP code if you add it, and whether you agreed to receive calls and texts. We also save which page and button you used to open the form and the campaign tags in the link you followed (for example, utm_source).

When you email us: your message and contact details.

To understand how the site is used, we record visits and events: pages viewed, buttons clicked, how far you scroll, which sections you saw, time on the page, page speed, errors, and in the waitlist form only the name of the last field you used (never what you typed). With this we store your device type, browser, the referring site, campaign tags and a random visitor ID kept in your browser’s local storage.

Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, uses cookies to measure visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

To tell you about founding membership, pricing and the opening of the New York studio; to call or text you about them only if you checked the consent box; to plan the studio and its schedule (for example, which neighborhoods and age groups are interested); and to see which pages, posts and ads bring people to the waitlist.

We do not sell your personal information.

Your waitlist details are stored in Hero’s Journey’s own marketing systems. Our website host (Vercel) and Google Analytics process data on our behalf to run and measure the site. Email and text messages are sent through service providers acting for us.

Every email has an unsubscribe link. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts, HELP for help. Agreeing to calls and texts is not a condition of any purchase.

To see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, email marketing@hj.fit. We’ll confirm when it’s done.

The waitlist is for people 13 and older. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13; if you believe a child has joined, email us and we’ll delete it.

We keep waitlist details until you ask us to delete them or until they are no longer needed for the opening and membership sales of the New York studio.
