NEW YORK, November 2, 2026 — Hero’s Journey, the fitness company founded in 2020 in Almaty, Kazakhstan, will open its first U.S. studio at 225 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY 10010, in NoMad across from Madison Square Park, in 2027. The waitlist for founding membership is open at herosjourney.fit.
The New York studio brings five coached training studios and an Assessment Center under one membership: Upper and Legs for machine-based strength training, Bootcamp and Metcon for HIIT and conditioning, and Reshape for reformer Pilates.
Hero’s Journey is built around one formula: better results = effective workouts × consistency. Members follow a program instead of buying access. A coach leads every class, the screen at each station recommends the weight for every set, and the Hero’s Journey app plans each week of training.
Progress is measured, not guessed. Every two months members take a 30-minute assessment at six stations, covering body composition, power, push, pull and leg strength, and endurance, which is summed up in one number, the Hero Score. The next block of training adjusts to the result.
In the company’s existing studios, 90% of members in a random sample of 1,000 came back measurably better between their first and latest assessment, with a median strength gain of 19%. The sample was drawn from the 3,585 members of its Almaty studios who took two or more strength assessments at least six weeks apart in 2025 and 2026. Individual results vary.
Hero’s Journey runs 6 studios in Almaty and Astana with 10,000+ athletes and opens its first studio outside Kazakhstan, in Al Quoz, Dubai, in November 2026. New York is the company’s first studio in the United States.
Founding membership pricing will be announced in 2027. People on the waitlist hear the founding rates first and get first access before memberships go on public sale. Joining the waitlist is free.
